Please pray for my dad, Bill Wilkinson’s health. He has been experiencing chest pain and body aches. He is getting the full “workup” at the hospital to track down the problem.
Please pray for the medical professionals’ wisdom and the Lord’s healing and protection.

11-12-23 - Please pray for my mom, Harriet Henn, for the resolution of the SOURCE of this awful pain. Specifically, neck pain as she is unable to move her head from side to side. Arm and hand pain radiating from the neck down too, Possible carpal tunnel syndrome. Excruciating pain up and down both legs. Was seen in the ER this week with horrible pain reminiscent of what she was hospitalized for in 2020.
By His stripes, we are healed! Is 53:5 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. Js 5:14-15

UPDATE 12-15-23 - She needs to have a CT and will begin PT. Dr. said she can go back to work with the boot, but if too much pain she may need the scooter or crutches. She can walk without the boot too if it feels good! The foot does hurt, and they will pursue this further if the pain doesn’t get better. Continued prayers for the pain to decrease and that she has a smooth transition back to work.
UPDATE 11-21-23 - She is back to non weight-bearing due to increased pain and swelling until at least 12/15 - please continue to pray for God’s perfect healing in His perfect timing.

Walking is a lot more difficult and painful than I anticipated. I can go back to work on Monday (11/20) as long as things are going well. It will be a long and challenging road for John, as well as the family and friends that love him. Please pray for John’s full and fast healing. My 10-year-old niece, Olivia was having vomiting spells throughout last week which ended her up Friday night first in the ER and ultimately in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After various tests and screenings, it was determined she would need to have her gallbladder removed, preceded by an endoscopic procedure. My sister Jenny and brother-in-law, Ryan have been able to take turns being with her. She has had 2 big surgeries to remove the blockage and should be coming home on Friday. The recovery is going okay, but she is in a lot of pain. Please pray for her pain to decrease, that she continues to heal, and for comfort and peace for her and her parents.

Jan Folkers, of Polo - Marilyn’s brother’s wife, is STILL so very low on energy & needing a breakthrough!! Totally not feeling like her usual perky self. Unable to go back to work since the kidney surgery was done in April, and that is NOT like her. She’s always such a worker. After surgery a few days later, contracted C-diff & it has been totally life-altering. Medical Drs. have done all they can do for her. They say she’s fine, But she clearly is NOT! So, she’s now seeing a Kinesiologist & finding a bit of energy through ‘grounding’ & natural treatments. She’s ready for her breakthrough & she’s believing for complete healing SOON!

Joyce Folkers, Marilyn’s mom, is doing well after a heart valve repair done in May. Now she’s being treated for increased heart chamber pressures/congestive heart, through Iowa City Doctors. Please pray for her leg swelling to decrease to enable better mobility. AND, that excess fluid in her heart will decrease & go back to normal function. Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayers!

UPDATE - 6-17-23 - Another relapse of strength & energy for Jan these last few days. Drs did further thyroid testing today, kidney surgical area is healed. They say the lack of her body mass ( she’s sooo thin) is going to make the c-diff complication take this healing take longer. Drs just say to keep resting and doing what her body says. Be patient and wait.
So in JESUS’ name, Jan Folkers be HEALED & made WHOLE, better than ever!!

UPDATE - 5-18-23 Jan is home but still so very weak. She is gaining momentum slowly but not as fast as she had hoped so far. She is focusing on resting & eating often to try to gain weight. The C-diff she had right after the kidney removal surgery has really zapped her. Lord, give her strength!
UPDATE 4-13-23 Please continue to pray for Jan & Julie. They are experiencing post-surgical pain. Also please continue to pray for NO complications, quick healing & that Julie’s body accepts the new kidney with no rejection! Also please pray this for the other 2 unknown people that gave and received. Thank you!

3-27-23 My sister-in-law, Jan Folkers of Polo, is scheduled for April 11 to sacrificially give her healthy kidney to a stranger. It’s part of the matching donor program. Jan’s 50 yr old cousin Julie needs a kidney desperately and Jan doesn’t match for Julie. BUT…because Jan is giving to someone else, they now found a donor for Julie more quickly. So both Julie and Jan will have kidney surgery; Julie to RECEIVE a kidney, and Jan to GIVE her kidney for transplant.
Both these gals are amazing & strong in the Lord!
PLEASE PRAY for NO side affects for the recipients. Divine healing for everyone involved! That everyone stays healthy before surgery! Whereas there are 4 people involved, all things need to line up properly, as all 4 surgeries will occur the same day.

UPDATE 6-17-23 - Joyce Folkers Heart valve surgery 2 wks ago in Iowa City, mitral valve clip procedure, went excellent!!. All praise to our Father God in heaven and thank you so much to all you prayer warriors!!. She’s doing great, gaining strength, and she was able to be at the wedding Saturday. Now looking forward to July 8 for her other grandson’s wedding. THANK U OUR FATHER LORD!

UPDATE 5-17-23 - My mom Joyce Folkers is finally scheduled for Heart Valve Repair surgery, Mitral Valve Clip, Thursday, May 25 in Iowa City mid-morning. Please pray for NO complications, a smooth, routine, successful surgical repair, and no extra hospital days needed other than one day inpatient. AND that she’ll feel better than ever!

UPDATE 2-20-23 - Please pray for the meds & treatments to do their intended work on Joyce due to her recent hospitalization because of complications from an infection of lymph nodes removed few months ago. And please pray for wisdom for the doctors to make the right choice and pray for Joyce’s comfort and to not lose hope, as it’s been hard the past two weeks.
UPDATE 1-25-23 - Joyce has only had one treatment so far with mild symptoms. Please pray for continued mild symptoms and that it doesn’t progressively get worse.

UPDATE - Her surgery on Dec. 6th went well and continued prayers for healing and for the upcoming rough road of chemotherapy. Please pray for COMPLETE healing of Joyce Rumbold’s surgical incision & lymph node area. Prayers for chemo prep procedures Jan. 4th & for chemo treatments to tentatively start a few days later. “Lord let her know you’re with her!! Thank u JESUS!’
12-4-22 Our family comes asking for prayers for strength, comfort, and protection. Our Mother has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and will have surgery this coming Tuesday. We ask that you join us in asking God to be with her and all of us through every step of this trial. We pray God grants the Doctors and Surgeons wisdom and guidance to determine the best treatment path and bless that path, Lord. Remove the cancer from her body and prevent it from spreading Lord. We also pray the gene testing results come back negative and show this isn’t a cancer passed on through genetics, We don't know what each of our lives holds in store, but God does. We ask that he would go before us and make straight our paths. Give us the wisdom to make the right choices. Give us the strength to keep going when life becomes difficult.

UPDATE 6-23-23 - Lung biopsy results - nodule is NOT cancer! It is Histoplasmosis. No need to treat. She will have a follow-up scan in 6 months. No idea how long it’s been there. Doctors think it’s a calcified-over fungal spot. Kelly is praying it just dissolves & goes away. Thanks for the prayers! Praise Jesus!

Requesting prayers of comfort for my colleague Praveen, whose brother was killed in a car accident in India this past week. Praveen will not be able to travel home for the funeral. Please join me in praying Holy Spirit's comfort for his whole family - he and his wife and daughter in Dallas. As well as the rest of his family back home in India. That they would know their beloved son and brother is with our Lord in heaven. And that there is no place he would rather be!

I went to the dentist on Tuesday, X-Rays were taken of the area, and the doctor took a look and could not figure out what the problem is. He did not see any cavities or chips/fractures. I have an appointment the beginning of July to see another dentist, but please pray that the pain is eradicated/doesn’t worsen by then!

UPDATE - 6-17-23 - Another relapse of strength & energy for Jan these last few days. Drs did further thyroid testing today, kidney surgical area is healed. They say the lack of her body mass ( she’s sooo thin) is going to make the c-diff complication take this healing take longer. Drs just say to keep resting and doing what her body says. Be patient and wait.
So in JESUS’ name, Jan Folkers be HEALED & made WHOLE, better than ever!!

3-27-23 My sister-in-law, Jan Folkers of Polo, is scheduled for April 11 to sacrificially give her healthy kidney to a stranger. It’s part of the matching donor program. Jan’s 50 yr old cousin Julie needs a kidney desperately and Jan doesn’t match for Julie. BUT…because Jan is giving to someone else, they now found a donor for Julie more quickly. So both Julie and Jan will have kidney surgery; Julie to RECEIVE a kidney, and Jan to GIVE her kidney for transplant.
Both these gals are amazing & strong in the Lord!
PLEASE PRAY for NO side affects for the recipients. Divine healing for everyone involved! That everyone stays healthy before surgery! Whereas there are 4 people involved, all things need to line up properly, as all 4 surgeries will occur the same day.

Emily’s sister Erin was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood) last week. It's treatable but there isn't a cure for it right now. She will eventually have a bone marrow transplant but for now, will have weekly shots for a while.

UPDATE 1-25-23 - Joyce has only had one treatment so far with mild symptoms. Please pray for continued mild symptoms and that it doesn’t progressively get worse.

12-4-22 Our family comes asking for prayers for strength, comfort, and protection. Our Mother has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and will have surgery this coming Tuesday. We ask that you join us in asking God to be with her and all of us through every step of this trial. We pray God grants the Doctors and Surgeons wisdom and guidance to determine the best treatment path and bless that path, Lord. Remove the cancer from her body and prevent it from spreading Lord. We also pray the gene testing results come back negative and show this isn’t a cancer passed on through genetics, We don't know what each of our lives holds in store, but God does. We ask that he would go before us and make straight our paths. Give us the wisdom to make the right choices. Give us the strength to keep going when life becomes difficult.

UPDATE 3-28-23 - My mom, Joyce Folkers, has switched to Iowa City Drs. Praying the drs orders to increase Lasix (water pill) will successfully rid excess fluid to give a great picture of her heart valves during the next TEE heart test April 28 (internal echocardiogram). Then praying they’ll be able to repair heart valves via groin catheter insertion surgery sometime soon after. No complications & she’ll be in great shape for June wedding.

Please pray healing over my dad, Dan as he is fighting a bad chest cold. We also would like prayers for healing over our daughter, Lily as she is fighting another skin infection. It is getting better with topical antibiotics, however, this is a reoccurring issue and we also need prayers for wisdom as to what steps we should take to eradicate this.

I’ve been involved in Chapelstreets mission work for four years now. Beginning March 26 through March 31 I will be traveling to Cabo San Lucas Mexico on a mission trip with Chapelstreet church. This will be my second mission trip with the church in my four years. We will be assisting a local pastor and his wife in projects around the San Lucas area. I have been to Mexico twice before and I cannot wait to go back and show the people in my church the people, culture, and especially the food as we fulfill our mission! This opportunity is especially close to me as I will be majoring in Spanish and Nursing. I am very grateful that I get to experience this opportunity and spread the love of God. Emily’s sister Erin was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood) last week. It's treatable but there isn't a cure for it right now. She will eventually have a bone marrow transplant but for now, will have weekly shots for a while.

UPDATE - 3-3-23 After 5 days of fevers, low blood counts from chemo, and cold & GI symptoms; Drs diagnosed human metapneumovirus! So it has been slower healing, but he’s been a trooper thru all the tests, IVs, treatments & all else.
2-6-23 Jameson, 2yr old, Calli is a friend of a family member, Jameson was diagnosed w/ Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer AND a large stomach tumor on the adrenal gland (primary site) metastasized to his spine, ribs, chest, legs, & lungs.
More scans on Feb. 9th.
Feb. 16th - central IV line insertion & Bone marrow biopsy.
Feb. 17th - Chemo starts for 5 straight days. He’ll be home for a couple of weeks in between rounds. 5-6 rounds of chemo are prescribed.
Drs are trying to shrink the abdominal tumor, then surgery to remove it.
At present, future treatments predicted are radiation, immune therapy, surgery, & stem cell implants.

Please pray that this will be the LAST meeting for this student this school year, that it goes well and is not filled with tension (like the first one), and that everyone (all 11+ people) is all on the same page and in agreement for the best next steps.

We ask that you join us in asking God to be with her and all of us through every step of this trial. We pray God grants the Doctors and Surgeons wisdom and guidance to determine the best treatment path and bless that path, Lord. Remove the cancer from her body and prevent it from spreading Lord. We also pray the gene testing results come back negative and show this isn’t a cancer passed on through genetics, We don't know what each of our lives holds in store, but God does. We ask that he would go before us and make straight our paths. Give us the wisdom to make the right choices. Give us the strength to keep going when life becomes difficult.

Marilyn says THANKS so much for your prayers! The test showed 2 severely leaking heart valves. They are now waiting for an appointment at Loyola Hospital to hear about treatment options. Please pray for new valves down from heaven or an easy fix! Love you all!!!

Praising God for protecting my sister Wendy, after getting in a head-on collision Wednesday. Cab driver going the wrong way at full speed. She’s very bruised. But no broken bones. No internal bleeding. Thank you Lord!
Prayers for a full and fast recovery. That this would be a season of illumination for Wendy. That God would use this situation to call Wendy into His service - according to His purpose. That she would come to know Him and love Him. That He would save her! And that this would all become a testimony to His goodness and faithfulness.

UPDATE - 2-7-23 She has a Dr appt on Feb. 14 to see if she needs surgery on the infected area. Her desire is NO surgery & that it shrinks & heals up on its own.
2-2-23 Danielle Hall - In the ER for infected leg abscess. Other doctors and meds hadn’t helped to this point. Praying that the new Dr. would have the best treatment plan for her and for the infection to diminish.

UPDATE 1-19-23 - He is getting better every day. He is walking around now, eating, and drinking. Speech and coordination are still lacking due to meds but they are improving every day. He has an irregular heartbeat just like his dad. His heart flipped out of rhythm because of the sauna after working out and being in the sun all day. He had an internal defibrillator put in on Tuesday.
1-10-22 Josiah Fleming is on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. He was found in the sauna after working out with no pulse. He was resuscitated and can squeeze a hand but has a breathing tube. Stephen, his dad, is here. Lord hear our prayers of rescue for Josiah! “He shall live & NOT die & DECLARE the works of you LORD” Ps 118:17
